Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies, Pune has the highest international student strength amongst all other Symbiosis colleges. 'Vasudhaiv kutumbakam', which means, 'the whole world is but one family', is our Founder Director Dr. S. B. Mujumdar’s driving philosophy. Here are some of the testimonials of our students who qualified for the exchange program : -
“Classes are very application oriented and assignments require a lot of research, introspection and creativity. Projects here are in groups and as a part of the Cultural Intelligence Project, we plan to go to Malaysia to explore the culture and create a documentary on cultural similarities and differences! Professors are extremely supportive and encouraging and we have been regularly taking surveys and receiving feedback which proves to be a great activity for self growth.
Other than academics, our Community Service takes place every week. I am with the Bright Owl Project which works for welfare of primary children and the scope of work includes tutoring and mentoring primary kids, organising events and assessing your assigned student. It’s been fun and we have a cultural evening planned for the next month for kids and their families.”
Nishita Karad, scholarship student, Temasek Foundation, Singapore at Nanyang Business School, Singapore.
“The semester-long exchange program at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore was an experience of a lifetime. Interacting with 55 budding young leaders from 13 South-East Asian countries opened up a whole new world of cultural learning and networking opportunities for me. Nanyang Business School is as good as it gets. It offers an array of courses, novel teaching methodologies and unique assessment techniques, it was a world I had never seen before, and left a lasting impression on me. It was also a proud moment for me when the name of Symbiosis International University was flashed alongside the best in India and Asia.”
Aditi Chatterjee, scholarship student, Temasek Foundation, Singapore at Nanyang Business School, Singapore.
Nithya Ravi, Vaibhav Lohia and Kiwa Singh are our second year students who are currently studying at the Berlin School of Economics and Law under the Exchange Programme. They received a scholarship for this semester under the DAAD academic passage.
Mukarram Khumusmi, in his second year at Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies has recently returned after a Semester abroad at the Georg- Simon Ohm University in Nuremburg, Germany.
